No tracking

Optional anonymous analytics only, with no personal content ever transmitted.

Effective Date: 2026/03/29

At Gratodo, your privacy is our top priority. We are committed to protecting your information and being fully transparent about how your data is handled.

1. Overview

Gratodo is an offline-first productivity app designed to help you focus, practice gratitude, and grow every day — all while keeping your data private and under your control.

We believe your personal information belongs to you. That’s why Gratodo does not collect, store, or share any of your personal content on external servers.

2. Data Collection

Gratodo does not collect any personal data. Specifically, we do not:

  • Collect names, emails, or contact information
  • Store your tasks, journals, or focus sessions on our servers
  • Use advertising SDKs or data brokers

All content you create remains on your device.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

To improve the app experience, Gratodo uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This helps us understand which features are most used and where we can improve.

Examples of data collected include:

  • Feature usage patterns (e.g., which tabs are opened, sessions started or completed)
  • Onboarding flow progression
  • General interaction events (e.g., task completed, goal configured)
  • Subscription-related events (e.g., offer viewed, purchase completed)

This data is anonymous — it does not include your name, email, tasks, journal entries, or any personal content. No data that could identify you personally is ever collected or transmitted.

Firebase Analytics may also collect certain technical data automatically, such as device model, OS version, and app version. For more details, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

3. Data Storage

All your information — tasks, focus sessions, gratitude entries, and settings — is stored locally on your device.

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is securely stored in your private iCloud account, managed by Apple. Gratodo cannot access or view your iCloud data in any way.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Firebase Analytics (Google) Used to collect anonymous usage data to improve the app experience. No personal content is shared. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

  • Apple System Services Optional integrations with Apple services (such as Notes, Reminders, Focus Mode, and Shortcuts) are handled entirely by Apple’s privacy-protected system APIs.

Gratodo does not use any advertising networks or data brokers.

5. Your Control

You remain in full control of your data at all times.

  • You can delete all data by removing the app from your device.
  • If you use iCloud Sync, you can also delete stored data via iCloud Settings → Manage Storage → Gratodo.

Gratodo never has access to this data.

6. Children’s Privacy

Gratodo is designed for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since the app operates entirely offline, there is no transmission of personal data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or changes in functionality. If we do, we’ll update the Effective Date at the top of this page.

The latest version will always be available at: 👉 https://choscor.com/gratodo/privacy-policy
